WHAT IS CATCH WRESTLING?

Catch wrestling is as effective or more effective than Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Judo, Sambo and
Japanese Jujitsu. However, Catch Wrestling is something that these arts will never be:
AMERICAN.

Before Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, wrestling was real. Real submission holds, Real
armlocks, Real sleeper holds. It was America's Martial art and it was called
Catch-as-Catch-Can wrestling. We now call it Submission Wrestling. Catch wrestling was
alive and well in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Catch Wrestler's would travel the
countryside in carnivals called Athletic Shows or "AT" shows and take on all comers.
